logo design

Logos are the lifeblood of a business and are Origami Graphics' specialty. Whether you're after a simple typographic design or something more artistic and complex - as long as you can envision it, it can be done!

I especially love creating logos for fellow ambitious creatives - be these florists, game development studios, or restaurants and cafes. If this sounds like you, get in touch.

Origami's logos are designed using the world-class Adobe Creative Suite and come in vector formats for infinite scalability. You'll receive logos in multiple colour profiles for screen and print use, have all sizing and formatting taken care of, and rest safe in the knowledge that what you've got is deeply-researched, market-appropriate, and completely unique.

You can expect:

  • A professional, infinitely-scalable logo you're proud of

  • Unlimited revisions during the design process - yes, I'm that confident

  • Layouts for any use you can imagine - inline, stacked, icon-only, text-only, resized

  • Colour optimised for web and print

Why You Need A Logo

Your logo is the key representation of your business and values. It is the only thing your customers see before interacting with you and your content, and they will shape their opinion of you from it. If your logo is beautifully-designed and suits your values, they will feel safe and happy to purchase. If your logo is unprofessional, lazy, blurry, cut from a template, or hard to read from a distance, it will actively turn customers away.

Another function of a logo is that it makes you stand out from a crowd. Think a big business like Nike - their signature swoosh tells you: "hey, we're Nike, and there's a shop here"; "high quality shoes that make you feel cool"; and "we're professionals who don't need to convince you to buy". All those words, spoken with just one graphic mark!

How it Works

  • I'll send you a questionnaire so I can get to know you and your design needs

  • I'll send over a design brief, including finalised quote, for you to read over and agree to

  • You'll pay a 35% deposit

  • Once the brief is agreed to and deposit is paid, design commences - first drafts are usually done on paper, while later drafts are digitised and get closer to the finished product

  • You get to give feedback on what you like and don't like at every draft, and I'll take that on board before I continue

  • Once you're happy with a design, I save the logo in all professional formats, take the remainder of payment, and send you a folder with all your logo files.

  • This process generally takes 3-4 weeks and you have unlimited revisions during that time. Easy!

I also offer logos in comprehensive business packages. Why not send me an e-mail to discuss what you're thinking?
